Melvin LeRoy Mosher,(better known as Mike), age 82, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away suddenly on 12-10-11 at Las Colinas Medical Center in Irving, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1929 in Enid, Oklahoma to his parents, Fred Mosher and Pearl Bryant.

Mike was the youngest of 4. He graduated from Enid High School in 1947. After graduating he worked at George E. Failing supply from 1948-1950. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a radio operator from 1950-1954 during the Korean War. Residing in Wichita, Kansas, he worked at Boeing Airplane Co., as a Wichita lineman for the Kansas Gas and Electric, and for O.A. Sutton. He married Wanda Burton in Wichita, Kansas on April 6, 1957. They moved to Decatur, IL, where he worked at York Division of Borg Warner. They then moved to Ft. Smith Arkansas where he worked at Norge Division of Borg Warner as a design engineer. In 1966 they moved to Texas where he was employed by Frigiking as a Chief Engineer for 16 years. Mike was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church/Faith United Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed flying, painting, fishing, snow skiing, dancing, going to his grandkids sporting events, playing pool at the senior citizens center, and lunch with his friends (F.O.F.).

Mike will be remembered by his loving wife and their children, Stacey Mosher of Carrollton, Texas, and Janet Bolton and her husband Todd Bolton of Lucas, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kelli McMillan and her husband Daniel McMillan, Kyle Piepenbrok, Kristy Piepenbrok, Josh Bolton and his wife Micah, Jason Bolton, and Jake Bolton. He also was a proud great grandparent to Kinsley McMillan. Predeceased in death by his parents, his brother Fred Mosher, and his sister Lela Mosher Steele.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life for Mike at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, December 16 at Faith United Presbyterian Church.
