Mrs. Merle Antedomenico, a long-time resident of Mesquite, Texas, was born July 9, 1940 to William and Amanda Gillis Walters in Hattiesburg, MS. She passed away tragically on August 9th at the age of 71 in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Merle was an active member of the Calvary Hill Baptist Church of Mesquite and loved her brothers and sisters in Christ. She was a vibrant woman whose life was an inspirational example to all she touched. She has left a loving legacy and will always be remembered for her love of family, her close relationship with Jesus, her unconditional support to friends and family, her sympathetic and forgiving heart, and her joyful approach to life. Her favorite pastime was playing with her grandchildren Lacey and Kyle. She also loved Angels and enjoyed collecting dolls.

She is survived by her loving husband Gene Antedomenico, daughter Lisa Mahfouz and her husband Stephen of Forney, TX, her son Jason Singer of Mesquite, TX, her step-daughter Shawnalee Sorem and her husband Jeff of The Colony, TX, and her beloved grandchildren, Lacey and Kyle Mahfouz and Monique and Cody Sorem.

She is also survived by her sisters Estelle Webb of Dallas, TX and Geneva Cantrell of Palestine, TX, brothers Gleason Walters of Ovett, MS, Cecil Walters of Ovett, MS, Doug Walters of Mesquite, TX and Jessie Walters of Mesquite, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Father, William Chester Walters and Mother, Amanda Marie Walters, her sisters Marie York, Margaret Cozart, and Beatrice Smith as well as brothers, Marcus Walters and Jerry Walters.
