Michael D. Hall, 20, passed away July 11, 2009, in Norfolk, VA.He was born in Nashville, TN, but was a resident of Lexington, KY, prior to moving to the Deep Creek area. Michael was employed with Jiffy Lube as assistant manager and also worked at Joe's Crab Shack.He is survived by his mother, Rosie Hall of Chesapeake, VA; a brother, Alex Hall, IV of Chesapeake, VA; maternal grandmother, Sheila Witt of Lakeland, FL; aunt, Beth Ward of Lakeland, FL; uncle, Billy Witt of Northern California.He was a graduate of Deep Creek High School where he played on the football team and was a member of Faith Alive Ministries.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon at Faith Alive Ministries, 423 Shell Rd., Chesapeake, VA by Pastor Shannon Joyner. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the family to defray the cost of transporting Michael back to Kentucky for burial. Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel is handling arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
