56 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 7:47 P.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Born Wednesday, February 15, 1956 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Monte Snyder and the late Doris Mae (Keane) Snyder.

Michael married Freda L. Dugger on November 29, 1980, in Lima, Ohio. She survives in Lima, Ohio. He was a Correctional Officer. He loved his children, grandchildren, his church, guns and his Harley. He was an avid Steelers Fan.

Surviving are: five daughters, Malinda (Craig) Cole, Melanie (Roy) Stringer, Megghan (Derek) Foust, Michele (Rock) Wagner and Mallory (Matt) Ritchie; a son, Shawn (Betty) Gruber; seventeen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; a brother; Larry (Aileen) Snyder; a sister, Connie (Caroll) Crowell; and a brother Rick (Mardi) Snyder; two brothers & sister-in-laws, Fred & (Diana) Dugger, Jr., and Larry (Cheryl Goetz) Dugger; a sister-in-law Faye Warrington, and a Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law Linda & (Chris) Cisco; a special nephew, Christian Cisco and many other nephews and nieces; mother-in-law, Frances Dugger.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Snyder; a father-in-law Fred Dugger, Sr; a brother-in-law Ken Warrington.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Bluelick Bible Church located at 1138 Bluelick Rd. Lima, Ohio 45801 with the Rev. James Neighbors officiating.
At the conclusion of the service the VFW Post 1275 will conduct military services.

Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
