Michael Gross, 54, passed away in his home on August 6, 2009. Born in Somerville, he has resided in Princeton for the past 15 years. Michael was a parishioner of St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church in Kendall Park, he participated in the Cornerstone Ministries and was the director of Nursing Home Ministries for the church. Michael was a graduate of Immaculata High School and a member of its Alumni Association and a graduate of Villanova University with a BS in Biology. He was a Republican Committeeman who worked the voting poles for the past thirty years. Michael was an Assistant V.P. for Merril Lynch for the past 10 years, working in wealth management technology and private banking. He was an avid golfer, who always enjoyed playing with his son. Michael took pride in taking care of his yard, especially caring for his lawn. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan, and had a great love for his dog Goldie, who passed away in July. He was a devoted family man and friend to many, who will be missed by all. Michael was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Carmella Conti Gross. Surviving are his beloved wife of 30 years, Barbara Conover Gross, his cherished son, Christopher, his aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral mass will be held Monday, August 10, at 10:00 am at St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church. 45 Henderson Road, Kendall Park, NJ, followed by interment in Ten Mile Run Cemetery, Old Georgetown Road, Griggstown, NJ.
