Michael Jacob Mauer, 44, of Muncie, Indiana, formerly of Liberty, MO died at his home November 6, 2010 after a lengthy illness. A memorial Mass will be 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty, MO. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Diabetes Association.
Michael was born July 2, 1966. He graduated from Liberty High School and received his BA from MU. He had been a commercial photographer with a private studio in Indianapolis until his illness left him physically unable to continue, in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob, March 27, 2010. He leaves his children, Elise and Hunter of Muncie; mother, Terry Mauer of Liberty; sister, Anne-Marie Luna and her spouse Fernando and niece Angelica of Westwood, KS; his companion “Jack” a Jack Russell Terrier and a large extended family.
