Michael Mabrey Hobby, age 64 of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. Michael was born in San Francisco, CA on November 10, 1946 to the late Burnie Cornelius Hobby and his wife Candace Alene Hobby. He was a lover of culture, history and science and spent much of his life in pursuit of these loves.

Michael is survived by his mother, Candace Alene Hobby; siblings, Vandy N. Hobby, Norella M. Hobby, Allison Hobby, and Rodney L. Hobby, his children, Chastity M. Wilson, Faith A. Hobby, Esperanza A. Hobby, Rodney N. Hobby, Burnie T. Hobby, Mercedes M. Moss, Jacob M. Hobby, and Michael H. Hobby, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas (501) 455-1067.
