Michael Raymond Fiedorczyk, 55, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born August 16, 1956 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Stanley A. and Arlene Morris Fiedorczyk. His great, great nephew Landon Fiedorczyk also preceded him in death. For 28 years, Michael served as site supervisor of security for the W.H. Sammis Plant. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 3734, where he was on the Bocce Team and was a Past Grand Knight. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan who supported all Madonna and Weir High School programs. He was also a member of the Assorted Bunch Bowling team. Michael is survived by his brothers Stanley Fiedorczyk and his wife Betty, Richard Fiedorczyk and his wife Mary and Alex Fiedorczyk and his wife Peggy all of Weirton; his sister Barbara Fiedorczyk of Weirton, and Theresa Baluh and her husband Joe of Mt. Pleasant, PA; 13 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews, 4 great-great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Monday at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church with Father Joseph Augustine officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
