Pam and family: Our sincere condolences for your loss. Mike was a good friend and a great neighbor. We have had no contact for many years, but have fond memories of Mike. Pam and John.

Dear Ashley and Family, Mike's passing was so sudden and at such a difficult time. We want to express our sorrow and deepest condolences to you. Mike was always easy going, friendly and willing to help when there was a need. He fathered two great kids who turned out to be two great adults. I recall all the cookouts, birthday parties, and other fun get togethers where we shared good food, good conversation and great friendship. We are blessed to have known him and will greatly miss him. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I was at the Platte Woods bank drive through and this Irish setter came up to my car. I thought it was Max and i brought the dog back to Mike's house and let it in. About an hour later i received a call from Mike telling me

About an hour later i received a call from Mike telling me thanks for picking up the dog, but did i look underneath the dog. Max was in the house, and I let someone else's dog in thinking that it was Max as Max was outside. Anyway, Mike looked at the dog's tag and took it to the vet, and got it to it's owner.
