Michael Shane Owens, age 24 went to be safe in the arms of Jesus Saturday July 27, 2002. Michael was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Big Mike was preceded in death by grandfather, Bill Stephens, Sr. and uncles, Terry and Eddie Cusick. Mikey is survived by Parents: Ed and Kay Owens Sister and brother-in-law: Michelle and Dennis Andrews Brothers and sisters-in-law: Eddie and Phyllis Bittle Ernie and Shannon Owens Andy Cusick Special niece and nephew: Mikayla and Cody Andrews Grandparents: Inez Stephens Eula Mae Owens Max and Peggy Cusick Special family George, Frankie and Frank Allison; All “The Boys”, Mike Cusick, Several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service 7PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Stephens, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home.
