Michael Thomas Jacobs, 24, Liberty, MO, passed away December 25, 2011. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 31 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Valley Hope, P.O. Box 312, Atchison, KS 66002 or to the family to assist with expenses.
Mike J was born May 27, 1987 in North Kansas City, MO. He played in the Clay-Platte Baseball League. Mike J was preceded in death by great grandmother Dorothy Engel, grandmothers Ruth Jacobs and Madge Lawrence; grandfathers Dale Lawrence and Gayle Robbins; uncles Jimmy Jacobs and Tom Lawrence. Survivors include his parents, Tom and Lisa Jacobs; two sisters, Amanda and Kim Jacobs; niece Taylor Jacobs; grandfather Papa Gene Jacobs and Jerry Beavers and wife Sandra; grandmother Nana Mary Robbins; uncle Bob Jacobs and wife Linda; cousins Ronnie and Madison Jacobs; uncle Chris Beavers, cousins, Casey and Cate Beavers and aunt Shannon Loy. Mike J had the biggest heart in the world. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and baseball. We love you Dude.
