Mr. Mike Medford

Mike Medford, 65, of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at his home.
Born in Sheffield, Alabama to Hollis Dean and Ella Mae Maxwell Medford, he was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served in Vietnam. Mike was a Baptist and a retired law enforcement officer and had been employed with the Blytheville Police Department, Marion Police Department, Arkansas ATC and the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office. He was also active in Masons, National Rifle Association and the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his father. Mike is survived by his mother, Ella Medford of Blytheville; sons Hollis Medford and wife, Joni of Marion, AR and Kevin Medford and wife, Janie of Blytheville, AR; brother, Stevie Medford of Wauconda, IL; sisters, Claudette Bacon of Columbus, WI and Patricia Clark of Round Lake, IL and grandchildren, Kyle Medford and Alisha Medford.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00am in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Dogwood Mausoleum.
