Mildred was born on September 11, 1905 in Visalia, CA. She graduated from Lemoore High School in 1925. In 1935 she became a registered nurse and worked in San Francisco for many years. During WWII she worked as an industrial nurse at Marin Ship yard and drove the ambulance, she also was a nurse at China Aircraft in San Francisco. In 1948 Mildred Started McCoy Printing Services with partner Paul J. Taylor until 1978, during that time she also worked at Blue Shield retiring in 1972.

She is survived by her son Richard E. McCoy; three grandchildren, Paul (Debra)McCoy, Debra Ann (Art) Gonzalez and Tamara Palma; four great grandchildren, Cameron (Colleen) Perry, Michael (Vanessa) McCoy, Jeffrey (Joelle) McCoy and Taryn Ciardella; four great great grandchildren, Gavin, Caitlin, Brody and Aliya.

Mildred was preceded in death by her first husband David W. McCoy, second husband, Paul J. Taylor, son William L. McCoy and his wife Virginia, grandson William D. McCoy and great grandson Daniel D. Palma.
