Mildred Esuary
Pickens – Mildred Lucille Esuary, 86, wife of Cecil R. Esuary passed from this life Thursday, October 27, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Esuary was born in Spartanburg County. She was a founding member of and named Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Pickens. Out of Mt. Sinai Baptist grew the Esuary Quartet that sang in churches all across the upstate and surrounding areas for many years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, two daughters, seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon Friday, October 28, 2011 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pickens View Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:15 to 12 Noon Friday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
