Mildred Swindell
May 24, 1932 – November 16, 2010
Mildred Webb Swindell 78, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. Mrs. Swindell was a member of Plasant Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Clarence Webb and son Mike Webb. In the time we now live in, it is unusual to find a person that has lived a life of honesty, integrity and god given strength. Mildred was an example of how a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and true friend should be. She held her beautiful head up with grace and kindness. Always willing to sacrifice and help. A beacon in this world that will be missed and cannot be replaced. A place in our hearts that we will always cherish.
She is survived by her husband Carl Ray Swindell, daughters Vickie Sharp and her husband Bobby and Pam Edwards and her husband Randy. Sister Patsy Eddy and her husband Jack. Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A special Nephew Nathan Rudd. As well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 8 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home.
