M.H. Griffin, Jr.
Pickens, SC

Milledge "M.H." Hartwell Griffin, Jr., 63, husband of Gail Craig Griffin, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at home.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Milledge Hartwell Griffin, Sr. and Floy Chapman Griffin.

M.H. attended Pickens High School and Greenville Technical College. He was the owner and operator of CC&B Trucking Co.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter, DeLynne Griffin Day (Kevin); stepsons, Brian Gillespie (Cathy); Alan Gillespie (Lanai); grandchildren, Cameron Day, Conner Day, Brett Day, Faith Day, Ansley Day, Ashlyn Day, and six step grandchildren; three sisters, Trula Bridgeman, Sue Griffin, and Wanda Davis. He was predeceased by Hagood Bridgeman and Lavonne Parker.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 2, 2012 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
