Mingo Guerrini, 85 was born in Lodi to the late Giacomo and Catherina Guerrini. Mingo was the husband for 65 years of Angie Guerrini of Stockton. He was the brother of Enes Damilano and uncle of Richard Damilano, Kenneth Damilano, Jeffery Damilano, Vannesa Damilano, Katrina (John) Evans, Teresa and Gina Damilano. After high school Mingo started in the agricultural business, farming many acres in the area. He then started a trucking business that was later sold and worked as a Field Representative for several companies in the Lodi area. For the last 25 years Mingo had been a Field Representative for Rivermaid Trading, formally All State Packers in Lodi. Mingo and his wife loved to travel and visited China, Japan, the Caribbean Islands, Philippine Islands, Panama Canal and many famous places in the United States. They also traveled many times to their heritage and favorite, Italy. Mingo served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Ord, CA and was discharged in 1955. He was a member of the Italian Athletic Club, Liguria Nel Mando, Waterloo Trap and Skeet Club, Bersaglieri Club and was one of the founders of the Waterloo Athletic Club.
At Mingos request there will be no visitation and a private committal for family will be at the San Joaquin Catholic Mausoleum in Stockton.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Mary's Interfaith Dining Room or to a favorite charity.
