Minnie Faye Reed

was born March 28, 1923 to the parentage of Jasper and Bell Williams in Corsicana, Texas. She attended G. W. Jackson High School. She was baptized at an early age at the Seventh Avenue Church of Christ, where she attended until moving to Dallas, Texas.
After moving to Dallas, Texas, she attended the 9th Street Church of Christ, which later became the Cedar Crest Church of Christ, until her illness and death. She worked in many services at the church: Bible Class Teacher, Youth Counselor, Gospel Hour Chorus Member, Willing Worker and in any other service where there was a need for assistance.
Minnie was a very caring and sharing person who reached out to others without expecting anything in return.
She is preceded in death by her son, Windrell Charles Woods.
Minnie leaves to cherish her memory: son, Booker T. Woods (Cynthia); daughter, Angela Johnson (Marlin); two sisters, Clarissa Garrett and Mary Greene; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
