Minnie Mae Williams was born on February 21, 1948 in Brookman, GA the only child of Anthony and Jessie Mae Lane. In 1962 Minnie and her mother moved to Paterson, NJ where she attended Eastside High School. Shortly afterwards she met and married Joseph "Joe Boy" Williams, Sr. They had three sons, Joe Jr., Rodney and Mical-"big head boys" as she would say. Minnie was always supportive of her sons activities, often attending their baseball, basketball and football games. She was employed by the Paterson Board of Health, Broadway Bank and was City Hall Secretary. Minnie enjoyed herself the most when surrounded by family and friends laughing, talking and sharing countless hours, especially with her baby boy Mical. To cherish her memories, Minnie leaves her husband, Joseph Williams Sr. and her sons, Joseph Jr. and his wife Malinda, Rodney Williams and Mical Williams, three loving grandsons, Keon, Jabril and Jashawn, four beautiful granddaughters, Keysa, Kyrie, Lakaya and Madisyn, four great-grandsons, Kison, Ky-eem, Jaden and Nasir two great-granddaughters, London and Ke-mya, all of Paterson, NJ, and best friends Mae Leary and Mary Onfri along with a host of relatives and friends. Minnie was predeceased by her late mother, Jessie Mae Lane. Minnie had a beautiful smile that will surely be missed but never forgotten.
