MILLERSBURG- Monroe C. Novinger, age 88, of Millersburg passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in Millersburg the son of the late Walter and Edna Cooper Novinger. Monroe worked for Leroy Landis, grinding feed for cattle, he also was a farmer and an auto mechanic for his brother Jake before his retirement. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rife. He was the widower of Shirley Rothermel Novinger and also preceded in death by a sister Florence Patton and brothers Edwin, Albert and Donald. Surviving are two sons Larry and his wife Judy, Ronald and his wife Joyce, a daughter Faye Herb and her husband Larry all of Millersburg, 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great grandchildren, a brother Jacob of Millersburg, a sister Sarah Crist of Millersburg. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9 from 6-7 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Rife. Services will begin at 7 pm. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to Zion Lutheran Church PO Box 415 Millersburg, PA 17061.
