MYKE SALAMANCA Myke was born March 13, 1987 to parents, Juan Salamanca and Christy Phillips in Hermiston, Oregon. He passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012, at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital in Portland, Oregon following an accidental gunshot injury. Myke grew up in the Hermiston area where he was well liked by many friends and family. He attended Hermiston schools. He was an organ donor and many have benefitted from his gift including two successful kidney transplants. He is survived by his mother and father; Brothers, Brandon Saucillo of Umatilla, OR and Matthew Salamanca of California; Grandparents, Dennis & Glenda Phillips of Umatilla, OR; Great-grandmother, Geneva Keown of Hermiston, OR; Nephews, Cruz & Josiah Rodriguez; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and awesome friends. A Memorial Service was held in Hermiston on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 2:30 P.M.. Inurnment followed at the Hermiston Cemetery.
