Myrna Jo Norris, 61, of Spencer, passed away at the IU Hospice House in Bloomington on Saturday, August 10, 2013. She was born in Bloomington on June 29, 1952 to Cooper and Pearl (Arthur) Crowe. Myrna was retired from GE. She was a great Mom, Meme and friend to many. She loved helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joe Norris; children, Joe (Kellie) Norris, Jr. of Spencer and Jodie (Kelly) Finch of Bloomfield; brother, Ron Crowe of Bloomington; sister, Rita Bennett of Spencer; six grandchildren, Deven, Jessica, Sidnie, Jameson, Kindreth and Jace and one great-grandchild, Remy.
Mrs. Norris is preceded in death by her parents, Cooper Crowe and Pearl VanHorn; daughter, Kristy Jo Lloyd and brother, Warren Crowe.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Benham officiating. Burial will follow at Whitehall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Tuesday, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
