Myrtle Elizabeth Hooker, 90, of Milan, Tennessee, died on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at NHC Healthcare in Milan, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, February 16, 1922 in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late George Robertson and the late Lula Easterling Robertson.
Mrs. Hooker was a retired cashier and hostess for the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas and member of Temple Baptist Church in Milan, Tennessee.
Graveside services for Mrs. Hooker were 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service was Rev. Matthew Moore.
Mrs. Hooker is survived by one nephew L. C. Robertson and his wife Imogene of West Frankfort, Illinois; her Great Nephew Ronnie Ray & his Wife Maria of Milan, Tennessee and Great Niece Jackie Davis and her husband Steve of Atwood, Tennessee. Mrs. Hooker is also survived by her loving and supportive family at Temple Baptist Church in Milan, Tennessee.
Mrs. Hooker was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Hooker; one son, Larry Hooker; three brothers, Cleatus Robertson, Lester Robertson and Dock Robertson and a sister, Estelle Merryman.
