Nynell "Robyn" Wessel, 72, of Rochelle Park, NJ, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Robyn was born to Harold R. Tueting and Louise Sweatman in Atlanta, GA, on February 21, 1938. She graduated from the University of Texas and moved to New York City where she was employed at Columbia Minerva as their assistant Sales Manager. She was also a fitness instructor for a few years, until she met the love of her life, Frederick Wessel. On February 12, 1979, they were married in Hackensack, NJ. Robyn and Fred retired in 2002 and moved with their youngest daughter, Chandra N. Wessel, to Loveland, CO. Robyn was a member/volunteer of the Thompson R2J School District Accountability Committee, the Master Plan Committee and Loveland Build a Generation. She received many certificates of appreciation and was recognized in 2004 with an award of appreciation for the many years of service and time on Master Plan. Robyn loved to read, write, and to travel in their motorhome. Her amazing strength shined through her smile and kind heart, no matter what challenges life threw at her. Robyn was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wessel in June 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Chandra N. Wessel; a son, Todd Lowenberg; sons, Fred C. Wessel and wife Cindy, Ronald Wessel and wife Mindy; Doreen Bailey and husband Rich, Debbi Triggiani and husband Richard; grandchildren, Morgan, Jade, Cheyenne, Freddie, Mark, Eric, Derek, Kelsey, and great-grandson, Cole. A visitation will be held 4-7 pm Thursday, February 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held 9 am Friday, February 11, 2011 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens.
