Nancy D. Miller, 80, longtime resident of Kennewick passed away June 9, 2012, in her sleep at home after watching "her" Mariners pitch a no hitter game. Those who knew her were aware of her love of sports. She was born February 9, 1932, in Marshfield, MO, to Clyde Dorris and Anna Evans Smith. She had worked in the insurance industry and retired from Country Companies in 1996. Nancy loved her grandchildren, crossword puzzles, computers, traveling, her flowers, and family dinners. She was a graduate of Kennewick High School, class of '49 and was active with her classmates and planning class reunions. Nancy is survived by son, Gary W. Miller, Pasco, daughters, Vikki A. Tiegs, Kennewick, and Cynthia K. Spiel, Kennewick, sister Nellie Jo Sublett, Stephensville, TX, brother Kenneth W. Smith, Goldendale, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Per her wishes her ashes will be buried with her family, next to her mother at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday June 23, 2012. Graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m., luncheon to follow 1:30 pm at City Church, 4624 West 10th Avenue (kiddy corner to Desert Lawn Memorial Park). Luncheon to be potluck, if you wish to help with food you may deliver to City Church June 23, 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or bring with. Contributions may also be made to Hospice at The Chaplaincy, 1480 Fowler Street, Richland, WA 99352. Mommy, "How great thou art!"
