Niles, MI - Nancy L. Harness, 76, of Niles, MI, passed away Thursday July 25, 2013, in Woodland Terrace, Niles. She was born on October 18, 1936, in South Bend, to the late Theodore Woodrow and Eileen Frances (Longbreak) Klinefelter and was a lifelong area resident. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Scott Jackson, and her husband John Harness in 2008. Nancy is survived by her children, Lisa (Brian) Lindorf of New Carlisle, IN, Amy (Eric) Gulbransen of Barrington, IL, David (Misty) Harness of Kirklin, IN; step-daughters, Susan "Sue" (Ande) Haynes of New Carlisle, Sally Foster of Granger, IN and Sheila Harness of Elkhart, IN; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Sherrie Allen of Chandler, AZ. Nancy was a great cook and baker. No one could make better noodles than she. She was a wonderful mother and loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be from 10 to 1 pm Monday July 29, 2013, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Funeral services for Nancy will be at 1 pm in the funeral home. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger
