Nancy Lee C. Steele

Nancy Lee C. Steele, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the age of 87. She is the daughter of the late Edna and Roswell Chapman and loving wife of the late Walter W. Steele II (ILYWAMHA).
She is survived by her loving children, Walter W. Steele, III (Cindy) and Ednalee A. Diermann (Billy), and her two grandchildren Adam W. Diermann IV (Audry) and Derek W. Diermann.
Nancy was a lifelong New Orleans Saints fan and season ticket holder and loved to garden. She was a very devoted mother and she will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to especially thank Jo Ann's Golden Girls and Lakeshore Hospice for their care.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, February 3, 2012, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
