Nancy Rich Weber, died 19 June 2009 at age 72. She was a long time resident of Cradock, and partner of Chilton Shorter, for 28 years. She was the mother of Dianna Weber Mills and Duane R. Weber, Jr., and also survived by son-in-law, Raymond Mills, daughter-in-law, Christine Weber, granddaughters, Karen Mills and Sarah Weber, brother, Hollis Rich and his wife Marsha. She was involved in Brownies, Cub Scouts, Little League, establishing a mixed hard ball league at Gosport field, and a Cradock band parent. In the community she was active in church, civic groups and block watch.A memorial visitation will be held at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
