Naomi C. Alsup, age 91, of Murfreesboro, passed away on April 2, 2013 at Woodbury Healthcare Center. She was a native of Bedford County, grew up in Nashville and graduated from Isaac Litton High School. Naomi was a former Assistant Manager with Sears and a member of Minerva Drive Church of Christ.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Searce Lewis and Lockie Alice Wilkinson Lewis; brothers, B. S. "Bud" Lewis, Jr., Joe Lewis and Bobby Lewis; sister, Sue Dewberry and son-in-law, Bill Winsett. She is survived by her sons, Herbert E. (Anne) Alsup, Jr. of Woodbury, Lynn S. (Roberta) Alsup of Murfreesboro, Glynn R. (Kathy) Alsup of Victorville, CA, Jerry W. (Kathy) Alsup of Pleasureville, KY and Ronnie L. (Patricia) Alsup of Oakland, KY; daughters, Sue C. Winsett of Fayetteville, TN and L. Alice (Randy) Morton of Nashville, TN; brother, Charles Lewis of Nashville; sisters, Marian Lewis and Evelyn Lewis both of Nashville; sisters-in-law, Dean Lewis of Nashville and Margaret Lewis of New Port Richey, Florida; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Church service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Minerva Drive Church of Christ with Ron Harper officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Jay Mitchell, Tim Alsup, Robbie Alsup, Pat McAlister, Charlie Davidson and Ryan Mitchell serving as pallbearers.
