DICKINSON, NAOMI, passed away peacefully in her home on February 26, 2012, at age 92. Naomi, known as "Nomi" to her friends, was born in Marshalltown Iowa in 1919 to Ernest and Naomi Hauser. She was a longtime staff member at Rollins College, having last served as Administrative Assistant to the Vice President. Naomi was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim after nearly 70 years of marriage, and by her older sister Wilfreda "Billie" Norris. Naomi is survived by her daughter, Judith Britton of Roswell Georgia, sons John Dickinson of Houston Texas, and Robert Dickinson of Orlando, sister Marilyn Wise of Ponce Inlet, grandchildren James Britton of Doylestown, PA, Diana Jill Delong of Dahlonega, Ga, and three great grandchildren Rixcin, Remington, and Delilah Delong. Naomi will be remembered for her love of life, her devotion to her family and friends and her fighting spirit, which she exhibited to the end. Her life will be celebrated in a private remembrance by her immediate family. Friends are invited to send a donation to the Hospice of the Comforter www.hospiceofthecomforter.org in lieu of flowers.
