Dear Auntie & Family:

I will always cherish the wonderful memories of the summers I spent with your family and when Uncle Nap took me to work with him. He was a father to me at those times and I am so happy to have shared these experiences with him. Many fond memories!

I was so glad we had a nice conversation on Christmas Day. He sounded so good and happy,

I have a million memories of my friend nap, we worked together, not only in New Mexico, but traveled all over the U.S.(road buddies,IBEW) in Joliet, Ill., Toledo, Ohio, San Francisco, just to name a few places. Where ever we went Nap made friends, that he stayed in touch with for many years. He was great to work with, because he was always up beat, no whineing or sniveling allowed!! I am sure his dear wife, Erlinda would agree, Nap

I am sure his dear wife, Erlinda would agree, Nap was a champion "snorer". My remedy was to whistle real, real loud and he would sit up in bed, saying " que pasa, bro?" I would then try to get to sleep before he did. Nap was my friend, and IBEW brother, and I am proud of that. I will miss him. But many, many fond memories will always be with me.

We are so grateful we were able to reconnect with you and Nap last year; it had been too long (since Mom's funeral in l984 as I recall). Memories of my childhood include many events shared by our families. Some of those memories have been kept fresh from the movies Daddy took (like the construction of the Tech swimming pool and the boxing match between Gordy and Gabe). Perhaps Gordy can copy some of them for you;

Meanwhile, please know that your family is in our prayers and will continue to be in the days that lie ahead; I don't know how people handle grief without God's love; we are grateful that your faith is strong enough for Him to comfort you as you adjust to life without Nap. We will remember him as bright, personable, daring, and with a wonderful sense of humor that even, on occasion, bordered on mischief-making s; he will definitely be missed. Thank-you for the friends you were to the Hicks Clan.

Auntie, my Uncle Nap will always be remembered with love. I can still hear his laugh and see his beautiful smile. Stay the strong person I know you to be and remember you are loved very much. Xoxo

We will always remember Uncle Nap, and his smiling face, and his warm embrace for all the Montoya family. We will always remember his visits to Springer, and dad calling to let us know if we wanted to see Uncle Nap he was at dads. As time went on the times he came to Springer were far and in between but he was always in our thoughts. We loved him very much and are sorry for your loss may God Bless you and comfort you during this difficult time.

Really sorry to hear about Uncle Nap. Unable to attend his services but my prayers are with all of you. I will always remember Uncle Nap the way he is in this picture. He had a very wonderful smile. Tina and I will always remember his "singaporeslings". Thank you Uncle Nap. REST IN PEACE.

We are in New Orleans and will miss Nap's services, but he will be in our prayers. We will miss our brother Knight and WWII veteran who has serves with distinction. in all his endevors. Sir Knight Duran supported me in both the Council and Assembly.activities.

I considered Nap one of my dearest FRIEND. We certainly go back a long way. I came to Socorro in 1949 just out of college. Nap and Leslie Hicks were two of the first people I met in Socorro. Nap was my sponsor to the Knights of Columbus. Nap and I have kept a good relationship through out all these
Years. We sharred the same birthdate. DECEMBER 7, PEREL HARBORS DAY. We always called each other to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
