Mrs. Lowe was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Abernathy, Texas, and died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, in Lubbock.

Mrs. Lowe's family moved to Lubbock in 1930 and she joined the First Baptist Church as a teenager. She was a member there for more than 70 years.
