Nellie Ione Taylor, 70, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Taylor was born on July 21, 1940 in Clay County, Indiana the daughter of Henry and Verna (Krider) Killion. She married Donald Taylor on June 13, 1964 in Brazil, Indiana. He survives. Mrs. Taylor worked as a nurse�s aide for Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana, she had previously worked as a bank teller for the former Union Bank & Trust and National City Bank both in North Vernon, Indiana. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon, Indiana where she had formerly been a Sunday School Teacher. She was a 1958 graduate of Staunton High School in Staunton, Indiana. Survivors include her husband Donald Taylor of North Vernon, Indiana; a daughter, Karen Taylor Richmond of North Vernon, Indiana; a brother, Robert Killion and his wife Shirley of Paxton, Indiana; a sister, Margaret Hughbanks of Colman, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Steve Taylor, grandson, Russell Bradley Coquerille and a brother, Joe Killion Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon, Indiana with the Rev. Randy James officiating. Friends may call on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
