Nettie P. Kozlowski, 79, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday in the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born and raised in Kentucky, Nettie came to Trenton in 1947, prior to settling in Monroe in 1958. She was the owner of the former B & G Corbin Stone in Monroe, her family owned business, and was known as "Mrs. Corbin, The Stone Lady". Nettie was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Applegarth Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the Monroe Township Republican Party. She enjoyed Lawrence Welk, visiting Kentucky, browsing flea markets and her annual Mother's Day trip to Atlantic City. Wife of the late George Kozlowski, who died in 2005, and sister of the late Nancy Locker, Toni Guynn, Mary Bradley, Ida Bea Johnson, Daisy Lowry, and Frances Guynn, she is survived by her daughters, Toni Wood, Mari Costello and Billie Jean Zeien; her son, George Kozlowski, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 11am Monday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Family and friends may call 9-11am Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Mrs. Kozlowski's name.
