I've known Noel since I became their mailman in Pacifica back in the early '90s. Back then him and his family(Judy, Ryan, Faith & Melissa) were staying in Lockhaven Drive. So, I see them practically everyday. On one of this meetings, I happen to find out that he is very much into Guitars and music in general. Being a guitar person myself, that started a life-long interest up till his passing. We would show up at Guitar center, Guitar Showcase,

I've known Noel since I became their mailman in Pacifica back in the early '90s. Back then him and his family(Judy, Ryan, Faith & Melissa) were staying in Lockhaven Drive. So, I see them practically everyday. On one of this meetings, I happen to find out that he is very much into Guitars and music in general. Being a guitar person myself, that started a life-long interest up till his passing. We would show up at Guitar center, Guitar Showcase, Gelb Music and at the Marin County Guitar shows because of our love for the instrument. He already had amassed a great collection and on most of these cases, I was there to witness the transaction. Like his Hofner Beatle bass. We were at Guitar Showcase and there was this old fellow who approached us with that guitar, saying that he just lost his job and needs to sell his guitar to help his ailing wife. Noel being the kind and grtacious person that he is, offered to buy it. I won't go in the price anymore, just that he got a bargain. We also share an interest in the game of Tennis and we would refer to him as Pastor Sampras for being a fan of Pete Sampras and his Pro-staff 6.0 racquet(He has several of these). Around mid-August of this year, I got to play with him for the last time at Gellert Park. Little did we know it was for the last time will see each other. We got to talking on the phone a few more times, but that was it basically. I just told him if he wants to play doubles with the rest of the guys or check out the latest in guitars to give me a call. Thanks Noel. May you now rest in peace.

Grateful to the Lord for knowing you and been a friend - Pastor Noel. Your faith and ministry was an inspiration. Your sudden home-going reminds us to be more faithful to the task our Master has given us.

Noel was so loving and filled with God's grace as he ministered to me. I began to attend his church, Jesus, Prince of Peace. Noel showed in the begining what a caring, son-in-law, and BROTHER he would be. I remember he opened my first bank account for me and made sure that each week I had my "baby-sitting" money deposited. I had a nice little savings put away because of him (until Grandma talked me into letting her handle my account - BIG MISTAKE).

NoeI taught me the value of "saving" for things I really needed, not because I wanted them. Growing up he was my friend and my BIG brother. He watched out for me and showed me and taught me responsibilty. Though I know God has a higher calling for him. His lost is felt.
