Noel Sylvera Minott was born on October 14, 1943 in Port Antonio, Portland Jamaica W.I. He was the first son of the late Sylvester and Kathleen Minott. As the husband of the late Hyacinth Sampson-Minott, Noel immigrated to the United State in 1971. Worked at the Hartford Club for 10 years and then at Philbrick Booth and Spence for 20 years. He is survived by his daughter Audrey Thomas, grandson Robert Graham, and granddaughter Natalie Taylor and, six great granddaughters. Seven sister; Cynthia Dennis, Florence Weaver, Delories Minott, Lorna Purrier, Edith Jackson, Patricia Reid, Barbara Miller, five brothers; Fitzroy Beverly, Keith Minott, Robert Minott, Dennis Minott, and Dwight Minott and 75 nieces and nephew among other relatives. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 7 p.m., at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home. Burial will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
