Nona Faye Sherer, 70, 0f North Little Rock, died January 20, 2012 in Mountain View, Arkansas. Born August 21, 1941 in Fifty-six, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Luther and Julia Coyle Lancaster. She was a retired nurse, and of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Sherer, Sr., two brothers, Carl and Olen Lancaster, and a sister, Verlie Lancaster Shipman, she is survived by sons Lewis Sherer and his wife, Mechelle, of North Little Rock and Gregory Sherer of Mountain View; a sister, Fern Tinkle of Mountain View; grandchildren, Amber Sherer of Mountain View, Travis Sherer of North Little Rock, and Savannah McClendon of Senatobia, Mississippi, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
