Nora A. (Jablonski) Kuras, 86, passed away May 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 28 years Walter F. Kuras passed away in 1982. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl A. Anderson and her significant other Ray Cadrin, her grandchildren Kathryn, Kevin and Michael Kuras and Shanna and Sabrina Anderson, great-grandson Peter, daughter-in-law Marion Racicot and her close friend Sheila Branowicki and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Noras son Walter K. Kuras passed away in 2004. She was the last of seven children as her brothers Stanley, Bill, Eddie, Chet and Eugene Jablonski and sister Sophie Czermak predeceased her. Nora was born August 27, 1924 in Clinton, daughter of the late Stacia and Alexander Jablonski. She grew up in Clinton attending Our Lady of Jasna Gora school. She lived at and helped in the family home for several years with her parents and siblings. Nora then married Walter and they moved to Grafton where they raised their family and were loyal parishioners at St. Philips Church for many years. She worked for 24 years at GE Water, formerly known as Osmonics/Micron Separations in Westboro and at age 84 was the oldest person in the history of the company to retire. Those who knew Nora will remember a loving person who was a mother figure to many in her life, loved to dance, and was a fantastic cook and baker who took great pride in keeping a beautiful home. Nora spent the last year of her life at Eisenberg Assisted Living in Worcester where she received outstanding care. Her family requests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to this wonderful facility which may be sent to Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence Special Care Unit 3rd Floor 631 Salisbury St. Worcester, MA 01609.
