NORMA MAE OAKER SARVER YOUNG KENOTE, 87, of Liberty, Missouri passed away January 2, 2012. She was born on June 25, 1924 in DeSoto, Missouri, the oldest daughter of Joseph O. Oaker and Ruth Agnes Tungate Oaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served a temple mission in Chicago for her church. She enjoyed genealogy work and frequently shared her time and energy serving others wherever there was a need. She survived her late husbands, Merle M. Sarver, Robert Young, Lenwood Kenote and Martin Gnemi. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Antony M.O. & Shirley Sarver of Liberty, Missouri, Richard S. & Deborah Sarver of Hanna, Indiana, Gary A. & Mary Jo Sarver of Portage, Indiana, and a daughter and son-in-law: Gleea & Raymond Untch of Liberty, Missouri; a brother & his wife; John & June Oaker of Steelville, Missouri; sisters and husband: Kathleen Thien of Merrillville, Indiana, Olline Branson of Columbia, Missouri, and Sandra & Phil Griffith of Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Kenote is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund.
