Oh, how we'll miss Woody's smile at our family gatherings, where you'd never know he hadn't been a part of our family for forever! He always had the biggest smile and made you just feel so warm all over. I'll always be grateful for the time he spent with Zach and his friend Jake by letting them fly the simulator...it is a memory they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. God bless your entire family as you face this time. We love you!

Woody was a great neighbor...we could always count on seeing him in the back alley when we would be out working in the yard...he would always come out to chat, and often to lend a hand with projects, or to admire work we were doing with landscaping. Woody always had a smile and that easy laugh...and sometimes he had a joke to share. He was always "Santa", delivering Annette's plate of goodies during the holidays, and he was pretty jolly.

He was always "Santa", delivering Annette's plate of goodies during the holidays, and he was pretty jolly. :) From just his every day demeanor, most would not know of his many feats of heroism as a helicopter pilot during Viet Nam, or just the many adventures he'd had in his life, but once you got to visit with him and inquired, he had done amazing things. He was such a good neighbor and friend. We will miss Woody.

I never met Woody but feel like I
know him well. Annette is a dear
friend and over the years she has
shared many great stories about Woody.

I will remember Woody forever. I met him in Germany in the 80's and he became a friend right then. Working with him was fun. He tried to make everyone he met laugh and he did a darn good job. God bless you and your family Annette.

We didn't know Woody for a lifetime but it sure felt as if we did. What an incredible man that led an amazing life. We are thankful for the time we had with him and the unforgettable memories we will cherish of him. Our hearts are saddened by his loss but we know he is smiling in heaven, visiting with friends gone on before and we will see him again one day. We love you Woody.

The neighborhood will never be the same without visits with Woody and Bridget, out for their daily stroll. Woody was the "go-to" person in the neighborhood, Anything you needed, to know, ask Woody! We loved hearing the stories of his life.. he had so many fascinating experiences. Rest in Peace, Woody! You will never be forgotten.

So sorry to hear about Woody. Although I did not know him, I felt as if I did because of all the memorable stories you shared about him. For example, I know he loved going out to eat, especially at El Fenix, on enchilada dinner night.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts as you remember Woody and the great life he shared with all of you.

My prayers are with you and your family. I am so sorry I did not know you were in the area. Please know that Woody and Chris are talking "flying" together.
