ODEN ABRAHAM BREEDEN, JR., age 81 of Manassas, Virginia died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas.
Mr. Breeden was born March 12, 1926 in Prince William County, Virginia son of the late Oden Breeden, Sr. and Ruth Luck Breeden. He was a member of Manassas Baptist Church, the Manassas Regional Airport Board the Manassas Host Lions Club and a charter member of the Manassas VFW 7589. Mr. Breeden was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. He was employed with Dudley Martin Chevrolet, Manassas for more than 40 years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Gilley Breeden; four daughters, Joan Breeden Squires of Manassas, VA, Diane Leigh Breeden of Baltimore, MD, Valerie Lou Breeden of Richmond, VA and Jennifer Breeden Farnsworth and husband Mark of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Elizabeth R. Schaeffer of Chambersburg, PA and Helen B. Neese and husband John of New Market, VA; four grandchildren, Morgan and Aaron Squires and Mattie and Taylor Farnsworth and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 16, 2007 with Dr. William T. Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas with military honors.
