Okey Garland Watts, Sr., 54 of Bloomfield, Kentucky, a native of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Flaget Hospital in Bardstown. He was born June 28, 1956 in Cleveland to Ellis and Mildred (nee Boyles) Watts and retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. He is survived by his wife Eva (nee Sweeney) Watts; children Amanda (Brian Freeman) Watts, Sara (Richard) Marloes, Nikki (Joel) Schlenkerman, and Okey Garland Watts Jr.; sisters Justine (Jim) Cook, Ruby Watts, and Linda Buschow; brother Melvin Watts; and six (6) grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Josh Crugar, parents, and brother Homer Watts. Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 with Funeral Services at 7:30 P.M. at Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Friends may also join the family for visitation on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
