Black, Oleta "Eadie", 89, passed away December 9, 2011. She was born July 28, 1922 to Albert and Stella (Brown) Cowan.
She volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital for 20 years and was active in her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow; and sisters, Lee, Ilene, and Ava. Oleta is survived by her daughter, Alana Black; brother, Bill Cowan; 7 grandchildren; and lots of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation: Friday, 4 - 6 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral: 10 am, Saturday at Sunnyside Baptist Church, 2618 E. Morris, Wichita, KS 67211. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church.
