Mrs. Olga E. Preston

Olga E. (Swinamer) Preston, Of Peabody, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at her home at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin J. Preston, who she married on July 23, 1948.   
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Redenta (Hiltz) Swinamer. Loving sister of Robert A. Swinamer of Ocala, FL; and Mona Petrella of Watertown. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held in the Bigelow Chapel of Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge on Monday, October 19, 2009 , at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Heidi A. Fieldston officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
Mrs. Preston was formerly employed as a secretary at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from where she retired in 1983.
