SHOAF - Olin Oliver Shoaf, age 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012. He is survived by his four children, Ed Shoaf, Linda Wagner and husband, David, Doug Shoaf and wife, Cynthia, and Elizabeth Hall and husband, Dan; five grandchildren, Valerie, Chris, Will, Robert and Scott; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Fred K. Thomas; and other relatives and friends. He was born on January 23, 1918 in Portsmouth, OH and was married to his lifelong sweetheart, Irale Jestine Shoaf, on March 8, 1940 in Holton, KS. Irale preceded him in death in 2010. During their very happy 70 year marriage, they were lifelong square dancers and enjoyed many happy years of RV travel across the country. Olin (Pick) was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and per the family's wishes, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Olin's name to the charity of your choice.
