Olivia Angela Reeder was born on July 24, 1956, in Washington, DC, to
Oliver and Evon. Olivia leaves behind two brothers, Gregory and
Clifford, three sisters, Denise, Devona and Jeanine. Olivia also had
adopted sisters Wendi, Felicia, Ava and Janice.
Olivia soon started her family, and gave birth to three children, Oliver, Angela and Tamika. Olivia also took hold of Latoya, her niece, as if she were her very own.
Olivia lived on the east coast for 32 years before she decided to reside here in California City. Here she began to write her poetry book “The Core” which will soon be published.
Olivia dedicated her life to helping others and with the Lords help, she conquered many challenges. Olivia’s strong devotion for life carried her through 54 beautiful years ,but on the early morning of July 9, 2011, Olivia’s mission on this earth was complete, and at that time, she began her peaceful state of eternal rest.
Olivia will be forever missed by many. She was a loving mother, sister, friend, and also grandmother to Teilah, James Jr, Jamela, Jaliah and also Avaron and Tatiana. There are many nieces and nephews that will never be forgotten.
