Opal C. Richter, 98, of 11813 9th Road, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010, at 5:30 p.m., in Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen, Indiana. Opal was born on January 3, 1912, in Tyner, Indiana, to Walter and Stella (Jones) Killian. Archie Schultz and Opal were married in 1928. Archie passed away in 1987. Opal married T.K. Richter in 1990. T.K. passed away in 2001. Opal worked for 16 years at the Teegarden Nursing Home in the kitchen and also as a nurse's aid. Opal is survived by her son, Chuck Schultz of Elkhart, Indiana; her grandchildren, Anthony and Chrispin Harper both in Elkhart; her step-daughters, Marcia Richter of Bremen and Beverly (Omer) Reese of Evanston, Illinois; her step-grandsons, Jonathan of Evanston and Joel of Chicago, Illinois; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alfred Killian; her daughter, Phyllis; and her foster son, Kenneth Duncan.
