Ora Mae Hinson February 19, 1925, December 26, 2011 Ora Mae Hinson, 86, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Holland and Dr. Randy Hughes co-officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Ora Mae was born Feb.19, 1925, on the family farm in Bethany, TX. Mrs. Hinson worked for Zales Jewelry and later retired from Career Girl. She also worked part time for chiropractor, Dr. John Ed Williams. She and her husband, Elmer, were faithful members of Memorial Baptist Church for many years. In recent years, she was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Karl and Matilda Neinast Grusendorf; her husband of 63 years, Elmer Edgar Hinson; three brothers, Arthur Grusendorf, Walter Grusendorf, and Paul "Bud" Grusendorf; three sisters, Katherine "Renie" Mitcham, Alene Duncan Helft, and Ruby Stephens. She is survived by her two sons, Randall C. Hinson and wife, June, and Larry K. Hinson, and wife, Rebecca; five grandchildren, Jennifer Dalton, Miriam Hinson, Rebecca Hinson, Brandi Branch, Mycah Hinson; three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Larry Jones, Chris Dalton, Josiah Dalton, Chris Branch, Brad Leuscher and Jay Duncan. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Grusendorf, Ron Grusendorf, Dan Burzynski and Brian Burzynski. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1801 Gurley Ave, Waco, TX 76706.
