COLE, ORLIN
Sgt. First Class Orlin G. Cole, U.S. Army Ret., 83, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, November 3, 2011. He is survived by his son, Mark E Cole and wife Barbara of Navarre, FL; daughter, Carol E. Cole of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Sally E Cole-Stokes; 7 grandchildren and many other family and friends. Orlin was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mabel Anderson Cole, his wife of 58 years Elaine M Cole and his son James B Cole. Mr. Cole served his country in the United States Army before retiring in 1970 with a Purple Heart, was a life member of the NRA and also ran for the US Senate in New Mexico more than once. Services will be held on November 8, 2011, 9:30 am at French - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrior Foundation, PO Box 13483, Tampa, Florida, 33681-3483.
