Otis Jerry Ceska November 1, 1916 - October 7, 2011 Otis Jerry Ceska of Lorena passed away peacefully Friday, October 7, 2011, at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Angelo Bertini as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary will be recited by the Rev. Joseph F. Geleney at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, and visitation will follow the rosary at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Otis was born November 1, 1916, in Waco, to Frank and Julie Ceska. He and Emma Navara married in 1943. He retired from the City of Waco. He enjoyed fishing and loved to play dominoes and dance. Otis was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Emma Ceska, who died in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, LaNell Brem of Lorena; grandchildren, Karen Hansen and husband, Greg, Jerry Brem and wife, Heather, Michael Brem and wife, Michelle; and great grandchildren, Hunter and Dylan Hansen, and Austin, Alec, A.J. and Emma Brem.
